Job Description:

Under general supervision, diagnoses and repairs surface and downhole electronic and mechanical systems problems while providing leadership and guidance to lower level technicians. Typically trains under a Principal Technician-Logging and Perforating to gain knowledge and experience in maintaining logging equipment and tools including some specialty equipment. Requires knowledge of surface systems, open and cased hole tools, and lab testing equipment. May assist in radiation record keeping. Visits field locations when needed to help solve equipment technical problems and follows up on equipment repair at headquarters. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations. Consequences of error are easily measured and can be confined. Skills are typically acquire through 2 years experience as a Technician-Logging and Perforating, or equivalent experience in electronics and successful completion of the Ft Worth maintenance school. Complete Mechanical/Hydraulic maintenance (overhaul) of the existing RDT tool strings Fault find and repair mechanical and Hydraulic RDT tool problems Remotely interface with Field Professionals on RDT jobs to resolve tool related issues, by providing solutions Improve/modify existing PM processes to be executable and sustainable Capture RDT tool and job information for reporting and service quality improvement purposes Maintain adequate flowing inventory Introduce and apply existing best practices Mentor National RDT and other maintenance personnel Reports to the WPS Maintenance Coordinator Requirements: In depth working knowledge of the RDT tool, with a minimum (preferred but not compulsory) 5 years hands-on RDT Sonde Mechanical and Hydraulic maintenance experience Independently handled RDT routine maintenance Schedule: rotation 35 on 35 off Compensation: in line with experience and Halliburton pay structure area premium offered day rate offered Halliburton is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
