• Develop Process section engineering deliverables and ensure compliance with the GS, SOR, SMR (Site Modifications) scope of work for consistency of the documents issued
• Ensure in depth review and checks of the process design studies with efficient reporting to Head of Process.
• Ensure process design compliance with COMPANY Referential and other applicable industry standards

• On the job training & support to the Junior Process Engineers of the Process section
Job Location:
• Port Harcourt, Main Office (occasional visit to onshore / offshore)
Job Scheme:

Job Description:
• Check and review the conceptual/basic engineering studies and detailed engineering in the frame of process-related modifications to existing installations or new projects either performed in-house or subcontracted to Engineering Contractors. This will involve the key process deliverables such as:
o Process design basis, Process Description, Operating Philosophies & Manuals
o Facilities sizing and document studies with Report or Memo.
o Heat and Material Balances, Utility balances, Line sizing, PFDs, PIDs, ESD Logic Diagrams, Equipment List, Equipment and Instrument Datasheets
o Review layouts.
o Comment technical bids for Process aspects.
o Support the coordination with Safety Engineer for safety related impact of modifications.
• Participate to PTR (Technical Review) / SPOT (Safety Review) / HAZOP / HAZID / Other Safety related reviews
• Provide feedbacks and explanations to Junior Process Engineers
• Carry out blow down and Flare radiation calculations when required (using PRO II and FLARESIM Software).
• Get involved in steady-state Flow Assurance calculations in pipelines when required by a project or study (using PRO II / US-14 software).
• Give assistance to JV Assets Operations teams in equipment, valves or line capacity check whenever required.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external Regulations, Procedures and Specifications including HSE
• Perform reviews of deliverables from studies performed by third party Companies
• Perform review of Vendor documentation during Equipment Requisition phase of Studies
• Possibly liaise with Headquarters for interaction of new Projects with existing facilities
• Provide & transfer knowledge and experience so that commissioning and start-up requirements are well understood by Junior Process engineers
PERSONNEL profile:
• Graduated in Chemical or Petroleum Engineering.
• Minimum of Bachelors Degree (Second Class) in Chemical or Gas or Petroleum Engineering.
• At least 5 years experience as Process Engineer in the oil & gas industry, preferably in engineering design companies.
• Professional experience > 10 years.
• Mature process design criteria and know-how for equipment, line and valve sizing for E&P facilities.
• Proficiency in process simulations using Pro II, Flaresim, Pipenet, etc.
• Mature understanding of Flow Assurance calculations.
• Minimum of Bachelors Degree (Second Class) in Chemical or Gas or Petroleum Engineering.
